Principle

This website is deliberately kept lean. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking services that build user profiles, and embeds no maps, videos or social media elements. The font is served from our own server, not from a third party. Whether the gaming hall is currently open is calculated entirely in your browser; no data is transmitted.

The site is available in several languages. Whether we suggest a matching language version is decided by a small script solely on the basis of your browser's language setting, again only locally in your browser. Nothing is stored and nothing is sent to third parties.

Server log files

When you visit this website, the web server processes technically necessary data: the page requested, date and time, amount of data transferred, browser type and operating system, browser language setting, referrer and IP address. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the secure and trouble-free operation of the website. The data is deleted after seven days at the latest.

To learn which languages our visitors speak, we additionally count the language setting transmitted by the browser – without IP address and without any other details, i.e. without reference to a person.

Hosting

This website is hosted by Bieber IT GmbH, Braunschweiger Straße 22, 38518 Gifhorn, Germany (brand “Host-Unlimited.de”). The server is located in Germany. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider.

Content delivery network

For delivery and protection against attacks we use Cloudflare Germany GmbH, Rosental 7, 80331 Munich, Germany (parent company: Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you visit this website, your request is routed through Cloudflare servers; technical connection data including your IP address is processed in the course of this.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable provision of the website. A data processing agreement is in place with Cloudflare. Transfers to the USA are based on the EU Commission's standard contractual clauses and certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

External links

The links to OpenStreetMap and to the BZgA counselling site lead to third-party websites. Data is only transmitted to the respective provider once you click such a link; that provider's privacy policy then applies.

Audience measurement (Cloudflare Web Analytics)

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, to learn how many people visit our pages. The service works without cookies, without storing anything on your device and without creating a user profile or device fingerprint. It records the page visited, referring page, browser type, country and load time. Your IP address is technically transmitted to deliver the report but, according to Cloudflare, is not stored.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is measuring the reach of our site. Cloudflare is a processor and is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; the EU Commission's standard contractual clauses apply in addition. Since our site is already delivered entirely through Cloudflare's network, audience measurement does not add any further recipient of data. Further information: Cloudflare privacy policy.

Contact form

Through the form on the contact page we collect your name, e-mail address and the content of your message. This information is not stored in a database; it is forwarded directly as an e-mail to our mailbox and kept only there. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. The data is deleted once your request has been dealt with and no retention periods stand in the way.

To protect against automated mass submissions, we limit the number of submissions per sender. For this purpose your IP address is counted in memory only, for no longer than 24 hours. It is not written to disk and not evaluated for any other purpose.

No third-party services are involved. Processing takes place on our own server.

Contacting us

If you contact us by e-mail or telephone, we process your details solely to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. The data is deleted once it is no longer required and no statutory retention periods stand in the way.

Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; the competent authority is the State Commissioner for Data Protection of Lower Saxony, Prinzenstraße 5, 30159 Hannover, Germany.

Data processing in the gaming hall

The admission check against the OASIS exclusion database takes place on site and is not part of this website. We inform you separately in the gaming hall about the data processing there.
